Project selected and exhibited at Salone Satellite during the Salone del Mobile in Milan 2014. “Xylem” is a beach chair. It is also the set of plant tissues used for the conduction of water and sap, it is wood.
“Xylem” interprets the concept of wood with formal and functional freedom. The freedom expressed is the condition for which an individual can decide to think, speak and act without constraint, using the will to create and perform an action or movement, making a free choice. “Xylem” moves and transforms up to its complete closure.
